Due to the impact of Covid, a massive backlog of students are desperately looking for Driving Instructors to help them pass their Driving Test. There is a massive demand for Instructors, so if your looking to make your business , road business, ROADBIZ can help you.
ROADBIZ has been teaching students throughout South Lanarkshire to drive for over 25 years , and can help you to start your Driving Instructor career. There are 3 Tests you must pass to gain your Green Badge and become an Approved Driving Instructor(ADI). The process is explained below;

ADI Part 1

The part 1 section of the ADI qualification is the theory test. These questions are based upon the below with the addition of a hazard perception test.

The questions in the theory test are based on;

  • The Highway Code
  • Know your traffic signs
  • Driving – the essential skills
  • the official Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) theory test kit for approved driving instructors
  • the Driving Instructor’s Handbook
  • Practical Teaching Skills for Driving Instructors


We can provide assistance, support and guidance with the theory test to ensure your comfortable and confident going into your test.

ADI Part 2

The part 2 section tests your own driving ability. The test usually takes around an hour and has 5 parts;

  • an eyesight check
  • “show me, tell me” vehicle safety questions.
  • general driving ability
  • manoeuvres
  • independent driving


We will provide a course of 10 hours instruction ensuring your at test pass standard.

ADI Part 3

The part 3 section is known as the Instructional Ability Test. An examiner will watch you giving a client centred driving lesson to one of your pupils for around 45 mins.

You’ll be marked on;

  • lesson planning
  • risk management
  • teaching and learning strategies


We will provide a course of 40 hours of tution to give you the best change of achieving a standards check test level.
